The Small Business Association of Barbados, as a certified centre through the TVET Council, administers (4) four occupational standards. A new category, Small Business Entrepreneurship Level 2, will soon be added to the range of existing National Vocational Qualifications for the centre.
Listed below are the NVQs administered:
- E-Commerce Level 2
- Janitorial Services Level 2
- Developing a New or Existing Business Enterprise Level 3
- Accounting for Small Business Level 3
These NVQs are work-based qualifications that recognise the skills and knowledge a person needs to do a job. The candidate must demonstrate and prove their competency in their chosen role or career path.
