Represents the sector to Government to facilitate an improved regulatory and policy environment for the MSME sector. Lobby and advocate the wider business community on the behalf of members in the areas of contract negotiations, access to finance, supplier agreements, among other areas.
Provides a number of relevant and rewarding training solutions in management, leadership and computer-related disciplines to assist members in developing the necessary skills and competences for a global business environment.
Organises a number of capacity building interventions such as information sessions, sectoral development activities, social media promotion and marketing expos to help members become competitive and grow their market share.
Coordinates business-to-business and customer-to-business activities to provide a platform for members to build partnerships, attract customers and leverage opportunities for growth.
Membership in the SBA is open to all legally established businesses meeting any of the following criteria:
- Annual Sales under BDS $10 million.
- Employing fewer than 100 persons.
